West And Home does not run user accounts, advertising networks, or analytics that identify individuals. The site does not set tracking or marketing cookies.

Local browser storage

When you respond to the cookie notice, your choice is saved in your browser using local storage so the notice does not appear again on repeat visits. This value stays in your browser and is not transmitted to a server. Clearing your browser storage removes it.

Contact form

The contact form on the home page is processed entirely within your browser. When you submit it, the form simulates sending and shows a confirmation message, but the information you enter is not sent to a server, emailed, or stored remotely. Because of this, a submission is not received or read by anyone.

External links and images

The site links to external sources such as the Government of Canada and Wikimedia Commons, and it loads images hosted on Wikimedia Commons. Those external sites have their own privacy practices, which apply when your browser requests content from them.
